The Way Forward Project
First Working Groups Convening
Arlington, Virginia, U.S.A.
February 9-11, 2011
A Convening of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute
The Way Forward Project launched in the greater Washington, D.C. area, U.S.A. on February 9-11, 2011 and successfully brought together over 40 international experts from the legal, medical, social work, and development fields to discuss the ways in which six African nations - Uganda, Malawi, Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, and Ethiopia - might build upon their current efforts to preserve and reunify families and when family preservation proves impossible, to connect children with families through adoption, kinship care and guardianship. CCAI was especially honored by the participation of our distinguished presenters at the project's February convening. Read below to view videos of the presenters and to access their PowerPoint presentations.
